Kouhsiangting: Taipei Times Restaurant Review

An article I have written about a Taiwanese/Japanese style restaurant in Yilan called ‘Kouhsiangting’ (口香亭) has just been published in the Taipei Times.  Check it out online here.

Here are some more photos taken at Kouhsiangting:

Seafood rice vermicelli soup (小卷米粉)

Red-headed silver carp (煎紅目鰱)

Sliced cold chicken (白斬雞)

The owner, 'Mouth', standing in front of a display of fresh seafood

About taiwanxifu

‘Taiwanxifu’ (pronounced ‘shee foo’) means ‘Taiwan daughter-in-law’ in Chinese and has been my nickname ever since I married my Taiwanese husband, Sam. I love sampling Taiwanese food, even local specialties such as stinky tofu, pigs blood cake and Taipei beef noodle soup with offal. But there are many other options on the menu. Promise!
