Centered on Taipei Magazine: Stirfry 100

Several weeks ago, I was telling someone how much I enjoyed eating out at ‘Stir-fry 100’ places.  ‘Stir-fry what?’, she said.  ‘How come I have never heard of such places?’  Which got me thinking that perhaps it was time to write about Stir-fry 100 for Centered on Taipei magazine.  Thankfully, the editor also shared my enthusiasm and now you can check out my article on page 17 of the October edition of Centered on Taipei magazine.

I have several favourite Stir-fry 100 places, and am always interested in discovering more.  I find they are a fun place to take out people who are visiting, in order to give them a flavour and feel for local culture without being overtly touristy.  Have you tried Stir-fry 100 yet?  And if so, where is your favourite place to go?

About taiwanxifu

‘Taiwanxifu’ (pronounced ‘shee foo’) means ‘Taiwan daughter-in-law’ in Chinese and has been my nickname ever since I married my Taiwanese husband, Sam. I love sampling Taiwanese food, even local specialties such as stinky tofu, pigs blood cake and Taipei beef noodle soup with offal. But there are many other options on the menu. Promise!
